- biometrics (sleep, readiness) — only if you connect an Oura ring
- calendar and email context — only if you connect a Google account
who touches your data (subprocessors)
To make Maria work, your data is processed by these services:
- Anthropic (Claude) — generates Maria's responses and reflections from your messages and context
- Supabase — stores your data and any documents you upload, encrypted at rest
- Twilio — delivers Maria's messages to you over WhatsApp
- Deepgram — transcribes your voice notes to text
- Oura — provides your sleep/readiness biometrics — only if you connect your ring
- Google (Calendar & Gmail) — provides appointment/context — only if you connect your account
- Slack — lets the Maria team review what Maria sends, for quality and safety
- PostHog — product analytics keyed to your user id — counts and events only, never your health content
- Langfuse — LLM observability — token counts and latency only, never your messages or Maria's replies
- Sentry — error monitoring — scrubbed of your messages and identifiers
what we never do
- we never sell or share your health data for advertising
- there are no ad trackers, no Meta Pixel, and no Google Ads anywhere in the app
- we don't use your data to train models for anyone else unless you explicitly opt in
your control
- you can delete everything at any time — deletion purges your data across every system
- your data is kept while your account is active
- Maria is an AI companion, not a doctor or therapist — she won't diagnose or prescribe
